2.009 Final Presentation Invitation and RSVP System

We're excited that you're interested in coming to the 2.009 Final Design Presentations!

The last lottery has been run. You may add yourself to next year's mailing list.
Please read about the standby ticket and alternative viewing options.

We have frozen the advanced seating guestlist, so we cannot take more RSVPs.
If you are a team's guest, you may still attend. Please add yourself to the waitlist and check in at the reception desk.
Please read about the standby ticket and alternative viewing options.

The students and staff of MIT's 2.009 Product Engineering Processes class invite you to participate in the extraordinary launch of 8 new product prototypes, developed by student teams. The theme is "super" and yes, products can help us super our powers and realize dreams!

Monday, December 11, 2017
MIT Kresge Auditorium
Presentations 7:30 PM sharp-10:00 PM
Reserved seating until 7:15 PM

Tickets for the general public are available via lottery. Please use the form below to enter the lottery. There will be ticket lotteries on Friday, December 1, Monday, December 4 and Wednesday December 6. If you obtain a spot via lottery, you will be emailed and then you must confirm if you plan on attending or not. When you RSVP (yes or maybe), we will make a nametag for you that will also serve as your ticket for reserved seating. You will pick up your nametag/ticket at Kresge Auditorium when you arrive for the presentations. Seats within the auditorium are not assigned.

There are also standby ticket and alternative viewing options.

A limited number of tickets for professionals in the product design industry are also available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you are a design professional but did not receive an invitation email, please register for the general public lottery and indicate your design firm affiliation. Once we verify your affiliation, we will send you a link to complete your RSVP, if these tickets are still available.

During the presentations, guests are invited to review products and provide feedback to the student teams via forms provided at the event. This is a valued part of the educational experience. So, too, is the reception that follows at Kresge, where you can mingle with students and friends and try out the actual products at team booths.

We hope to see you there!

Sincerely,
The 2.009 instructors:
David Wallace, Atissa Banuazizi, Jared Berezin, Danny Braunstein, Amy Carleton, Matt Duplessie, David Hardt, Victor Hung, Jane Kokernak, Peter Nielsen, Rob Podoloff, Josh Ramos, Juergen Schoenstein, Warren Seering, Juhan Sonin, Michael Trice, Geoff Tsai, and Rich Wiesman
